Aduantas, a Dublin-based aerial acrobatics and circus performance group, sought Wonder Works' expertise to design a brand and visual identity. The challenge was to capture Aduantas' essence, stand out in contemporary circus, and distinguish itself from traditional circus. With varying branding standards in contemporary circus and a diverse group of collaborators, the brand needed to adapt to sub-brands for each project while aligning with collaborators' brands. Wonder Works successfully created a versatile visual identity spanning theatre space, T-shirts, film cards, and social media promotion.

Breathing Brand Identity

Aduantas have used their new identity to great success in the production of their performance of circus arts and spectacle theatrical pieces. The film based on the live show received a range of accolades, including;
Winner – Best Dance Film at Silk Road Film Awards
Finalists – Best Editing, Best music (Short Film) at Across The Globe
Semi Finalist – Super Short Films at AltFF
Selected Best Experimental Short Film – Le Prince International Film Festival

The creative process

Ink sketches of the 6 characters in the story were sketched and then converted into more contemporary colours. Photos of the performers were overlaid ontop of each other and the coloured sketches were then placed in the background.
