South Dublin County Council launched Heatworks, Ireland's inaugural reclaimed district heating system, utilizing heat from data centers to warm local homes and businesses. Wonder Works collaborated with SDCC, crafting the name, brand, and visual identity. the project delivers a contemporary, timeless visual identity that communicates the innovative use of technology to reclaim heat. Heatworks, with its clear and clean style, ensures the message of environmental sustainability is easily understood, making the heating system accessible to all.

Wonder Works was enthusiastic about contributing to a sustainability-focused project. Heat Works, a not-for-profit company established by South Dublin County Council, manages and develops initiatives like the Tallaght District Heating Scheme. Crucially, the project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions tied to fossil fuel heating in Tallaght, aligning with national targets for renewable energy, energy efficiency, and CO2 reduction.

Heat Works’ lively colour palette instantly captures the viewer’s attention. The vivid greens and purples create a strong and unforgettable impression. The visual identity is uncomplicated yet refined, ensuring a clear communication of the intended message.
